Time for a Makeover?

We are currently in the process of renovating our house. You know those TV shows where they rip everything out and start again, well we’re basically doing that. At the moment, the house is a mess. But one day (hopefully…) we will finish the makeover and it will have been transformed into a beautiful masterpiece (or something like that). The only thing is, it’s hard work and time consuming when you are doing the manual work yourselves.

I just love those shows, the ones where they makeover rooms or houses. With all the potential to improve and renew and make things better and more user friendly. And then there’s the big reveal at the end where everything is beautiful and all the benefits of the transformation are shown.

And it’s not just houses that benefit from transformation. It got me thinking about Esker’s transformational capabilities. Take inbound document processing as an example. Could this area of your company do with a makeover, so that all the hard work is done for you?

The focus on inbound documents makes total sense as their processing is directly linked to profitability. Manual processing methods just aren’t good enough anymore. They are too expensive, too inefficient and too much value can be lost.

The makeover from manual processing to automation is worth it. Just look at these benefits:

  • Improved processing speed
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Lean growth
  • Improved staff productivity
  • Benchmarking capabilities and KPIs
  • Dispute resolution
  • Better supplier relationships
  • Customer satisfaction and improved customer experience
  • Easy document retrieval
  • Reduced operational costs
  • Data accuracy

Try reading this helpful how-to-guide called Manual Process Makeover. Just think, your inbound document processing could also emerge as a beautiful (automated) masterpiece.
