At the weekend we finally got round to building a Christmas present that has lain unopened for the past month or so – an Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot toy. It was fairly tricky to build, but we had a lot of fun doing it, and it’s so clever! It can walk around unaided, follow moving objects, avoid obstacles, and with a little human help you can teach it to do other tasks too.

That’s the cool thing about AI – it’s smart!
