Meet Samuel Townsend
- Book – Mountain Bike Guide, in which I was asked to contribute towards the content on trails in the Derbyshire Peak District (plus OS map).
- Book – Cyclosportives – A Competitors Guide (written by a friend) to help improve my competitive road cycling.
- Karate Do symbol meaning ‘The Empty Hand Way’. Practiced this discipline for a number of years reaching the brown belt level 8.
- Ultimate Nutrition book used extensively throughout university while weight training and playing rugby.
- Everesting Challenge – to cycle the height of Mount Everest (8,848 meters) in a single ride. Took 17 hours to complete and raised over £1,000 for charity.
- Book – 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Incredible insights that can be applied to both work and life!
- VR|46 decal – Race number of my favourite MotoGP motorcycle rider, Valentino Rossi whom I have followed for 20 years.
- Rolling Stones logo pin badge – Best rock & roll band in the world (…as well as Oasis).
- Family cat pencil drawing submitted during A-levels (in additional to other works) at county level arts festival for fine art. Diploma for fine art awarded.
- Book – Theory of Flight for Glider Pilots. Plus a ‘G’ wings badge awarded to newly licensed glider pilot after first solo flight.
