Valencony’s appointment reflects Esker’s commitment to strengthening its network of global partners.
Esker, a global cloud platform and leader in AI-driven process automation solutions for finance and customer service functions, today announced the appointment of Claire Valencony to the Esker Managing Board.
Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Strategic Alliances, where she leads and coordinates Esker’s worldwide indirect channel initiatives, Valencony joined the Esker Managing Board on March 1, 2021. With more than 18 years of experience in business process automation both in France and abroad, her goal is to develop Esker’s partnership ecosystem, which represents one of the three key strategic areas for the company.
“This appointment underlines Esker’s commitment to strengthening its global partnership network. This is a major objective for the company, as we aim to reach 30% of our growth through indirect channels by 2023,” said Emmanuel Olivier, Chief Operating Officer at Esker.
Valencony’s comprehensive experience makes her a natural choice for this position: Before being charged with Partnership Development and Strategic Alliances initiatives for Esker North America beginning in 2014, she led Esker’s Sales, Marketing and Consulting activities as Country Manager for France, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg. Prior to joining Esker in 2003 as Channel and SMB Market Director, Valencony was the Marketing and Communication Manager for Logica CMG’s Outsourcing Services Division in London.
“Claire has all the qualities and experience necessary for success in this new role. In her previous positions, she has provided leadership to the company and valuable business expertise to our clients. I am elated to welcome her to the Managing Board,” stated Olivier.
“I am excited to be able to contribute to the Esker Management Board and to share my experience in developing global alliances,” said Valencony. “This is an area of great potential for our company, which will enable us to conquer new market shares.”
A graduate of EM Lyon Business School, Claire Valencony has been involved in a variety of organisations that support innovation in business transformation, such as judging and mentoring for the MassChallenge and MIT Sandbox entrepreneur programmes in Boston. Valencony added that she is “extremely motivated by this new challenge and delighted to drive the representation of women in executive roles on the Esker Managing Board.”
